Wooden Honey Dipper
  • Our Coastal Honey is produced from hives placed in the coastal heath and mixed wildflower environments of south-west Western Australia — a landscape distinct from the deep Jarrah and Blackbutt forest that produces our active range, and one that results in a honey with a lighter, more floral character.

This is a multifloral honey — the bees forage across a variety of native flowering plants rather than a single tree species. It does not carry a TA activity rating, but it is raw, cold-extracted, and produced to exactly the same quality standards as everything else we make.

  • The right choice if you want a pure WA table honey for everyday use — on toast, in tea, in cooking — without the intensity or price point of the active monofloral range. It is also the natural starting point for anyone new to South West Honey who wants to understand what genuinely raw, single-origin Australian honey tastes like before exploring the active varieties.

  • Cold-extracted below 40 degrees C. Minimally filtered. Not heat-treated, not blended with imported or bulk honey, and not adjusted for colour or consistency.

  • Light amber to golden. Clean, floral, and gently sweet — with a mild, fresh finish. Noticeably different from supermarket honey in the clarity of flavour and the absence of the flat, over-processed sweetness that heat treatment produces.

  • B-QUAL certified. Western Australian single-origin. Produced by Southern Ocean Apiaries Pty Ltd trading as South West Honey.
